Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data we collect through torque.fyi, why, how long we keep it, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who we are

Torque is run by Richeness Media · Kerkenbos 1002, 6546 BA Nijmegen · KVK 71711066 · BTW NL002015499B67
Nijmegen, the Netherlands
Email: rich@torque.fyi

We are the controller for the personal data described here. "Torque", "we" and "us" in this policy mean the business named above.

2. What we collect, and why

The contact form. When you send the form on this site, we receive exactly these fields: your full name, work email, company, what you're trying to solve, and, if you choose to fill them in, your phone number and your website or LinkedIn address. The form also has a hidden spam-check field that people never see or fill in. We use what you send to reply to you and to judge whether we can help. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, and taking steps at your request before a possible agreement (GDPR Article 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b)).

Booking a call. The "Book a call" buttons open a booking page run by Google as part of our Google Workspace account. The details you enter there (such as your name and email) reach us through Google Calendar and are used to hold the call.

Email. If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you write, and use it to reply.

Hosting logs. Our host, Netlify, processes technical data such as your IP address and the pages you request, to deliver the site and keep it secure. We don't use this for analytics or marketing.

What we don't do. We don't use analytics, tracking pixels or advertising tools on this site, and we don't build profiles of visitors.

3. Videos

Video thumbnails on this site are served from our own domain. A video only loads from YouTube when you click play, in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. From that moment YouTube's own privacy policy applies to that video.

4. Who processes data for us

  • Netlify, Inc.: hosting of this site and storage of contact-form submissions.
  • Google: Google Workspace, for email and the booking page.

Both may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, the transfer relies on the safeguards those providers offer, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We don't sell or rent personal data to anyone.

5. How long we keep it

We keep form submissions and email for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless a working relationship follows, in which case the data becomes part of that relationship's records. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to object to or restrict its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Email rich@torque.fyi and we'll respond within one month.

You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

7. Cookies

This site sets no cookies. See the Cookie Policy.

8. Changes

If we change how we handle personal data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
